Il Buttero Italian Restaurant, Hiroo イタリア料理イル・ブッテロ広尾

Back in 2007 I wrote: Il Buttero is situated in a lane just off the Hiroo shopping street. It in a old house with a lovely tree outside. The food is your basic Italian and the attitude from the partially Italian staff is a bit macho, but basically it's a place for a good not too sophisticated Italian feed.

Nothing has changed in the basic offer since then, but the staff seemed a bit friendlier on a recent visit. It's really worth a try if you're after something a little bit different from the usual Italian joint in Tokyo, but still down to earth.

You certainly won't go hungry! This is the 6,000 yen course (you can choose either fish or meat). Sorry - I ate my dessert before I remembered to take a pic~
