Les Choux, Azabu Juban レストランレ・シュー麻布十番

Les Choux in Azabu Juban has been going since 1978, which is a great testament to the quality and know-how of the people running this establishment. Sure, this place is a TOTAL throwback in terms of cuisine and decor but that's why we should love it. Tokyo is full of French restaurants that reflect the era in which the chef did his apprenticeship, and as a result we have these amazing living culinary museums. Any place that still puts those little paper socks on its lamb cutlets will have me as a regular!

Definitely don't walk past Les Choux when you're next down at Azabu Juban. It's opposite Peacock, but a world away...

Inspiration for a new "Eating Out in Tokyo With Dominic" rating system for Tokyo French restaurants: 1-5 paper lamb chops cuffs (the technical term, I believe).
